I had for a moment forgotten that it was Mothering Sunday on the 26th March, that’s this Sunday lovely peeps, however unlike most it is a time when I need to be super prepared!
With my Mum living abroad, it always makes it a tad harder, not simply for the fact I need to send cards over ridiculously early to ensure delivery, but also for the fact that it will not be Mother’s Day where she lives on that date!
Thank goodness Hallmark are as organised as I am, with their fantastic range of cards having been available in card stockists for several weeks now. Ranging from traditional, sentimental, funny cards and more, there is a lot to choose from! If you decide to choose a card with a twist, such as the Wonder Woman card, Hallmark also have a super cute Wonder Woman Itty Bitty as an accompaniment. The Itty Bitty is part of a super cute range of little collectable character plush toys with lots to choose from it you decide not to go down the Super Woman line.
If you are looking to treat your mum to some time out, an Afternoon Tea treat is always a lovely way to spend time together on the day.
Cloud 23 at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester is currently booked out for Afternoon Tea on Sunday 26th, however spaces are still available for Saturday 25th March. Costing £22 per person without Champagne or £33 with, it would be rude not to indulge!
If you are looking for Afternoon Tea on the actual day, then Opus One at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester offer several options with prices ranging from £20.95 per person. If you choose to dine there for lunch or dinner, then Mum’s will also receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
With so many great offers available for Mother’s Day this Sunday, make sure you check out deals online before you decide where to go and book!
