National Curry Week runs from the 9th to 15th October 2017 and is the perfect excuse (if you ever needed one!) to indulge in mouthwatering Indian cuisine.

Mini Me are fans of tucking into a good curry and we have been fortunate enough to review several fantastic Manchester based Indian restaurants that we thoroughly recommend…

Mughli Indian Restaurant and Charcoal Grill

National Curry Week

Situated in the heart of the Rusholme Curry Mile, Mughli is a larger sized restaurant, serving high quality Indian food. Everything about the meal was perfect and I especially loved the fact Children were offered their own menu and it was very family friendly. Check out our Mughli Indian Restaurant and Charcoal Grill review to see what we ate on our visit.

Scene Restaurant

National Curry Week

We enjoyed a wonderful spread from the very reasonably priced lunch menu at Scene restaurant situated in Spinningfields, Manchester. If you work in one of the many offices in the vicinity then you are in for a real treat! With the option of takeaway food, you can eat like a King for your lunch – with Scene offering some of the best Bahji’s I have ever eaten! At night time, the restaurant is buzzing, with a fantastic canopy area/ shisha terrace. Find out how what we thought of our lunch by checking out our Scene Restaurant Manchester review.

The Purple Lounge

National Curry Week

With a prime location at the Ellesmere Retail Park in Walkden, parking is certainly not a problem with the Purple Lounge. Fantastic lunchtime offers and a Kids Eat Free on Sunday offer make this restaurant particularly attractive to families and workers nearby. The food is delicious and you will leave feeling like you have eaten a feast and a half!

The Purple Lounge is a favourite haunt of local celebrities with Jorgie Porter and Kieron Richardson of Hollyoaks fame recently being snapped dining at the restaurant.

Find out what we thought and ate in our Purple Lounge Manchester review.

Will you be celebrating National Curry Week with a feast? Have you got any Manchester based recommendations to add to our list?
